The Dynamic Duo in Potable Water

The Dynamic Duo in Potable Water

C.S.G Valves and Actuation, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of quality civil engineering products, has experienced huge success in the supplier stakes, since ‘dipping their toe’ into the potable water industry for the first time this year, with the introduction of two high performance products.

The team at CSG has seen a marked increased in demand for both their WRAS approved Butterfly Valves, and the Resilient Seated Gate Valves, both of which are on their way to becoming among market leaders in the potable water industry.

The Resilient Seated Gate Valve can be used for both potable and wastewater, in below or above ground applications and is commonly used for the isolation of sections and branches in pipelines. The gate is fully encapsulated to ensure drop tight sealing and is thermally bonded to provide long life corrosion protection.

Similarly, the Butterfly Valves is vulcanized with a bonded liner to reduce maintenance, enhance high flow performance, increase life expectancy and consequently lower running costs once fitted.

The concentric butterfly valve range has demonstrated a one hundred percent track record for shut off between disc and liner on all sizes, and across varying applications including; clean water, gas, air and powder. Designers claim this is due to precision engineering of the internal parts - bronze bearings bushes and shaft.

Dave Warner, CSG Divisional Manager commented:

"The introduction of these two valves into the CSG portfolio has generated an unprecedented number of sales enquiries. The industry interest in these two products serves testament to their high performance, reliability and longevity. We firmly believe they will be market leaders in their category in the not too distant future."
